Mo Farah Recites Inspiring Poem as We Get a Look at His Grueling Training Regime

One of the greatest distance runners of all time, Mo Farah, teamed up with longtime sponsor Nike, as well as the award-winning ad agency Wieden+Kennedy, to produce the above one-minute film, titled Smile. Set in his hometown of London, Mo showcases his grueling training regime while reciting a beautiful heartfelt poem, written by London-born spoken-word artist George the Poet. Here’s the breakdown of said poem:

You smiled a smile that made it look easy.
Made people stop and stare.
The happiness you felt you gave it so freely
They would never guess what got you there.

To be precise I mean the sleepless nights, I mean the
Uphill struggle to the steepest heights

And in that space of your lonely performance
Suddenly you become your own reassurance
That’s when you realise you don’t need assurance –
Only endurance.

You fought through the darkest hours of the night.
So this is light work, the power is in the mind.

Now you’re adorned in the glory of the final mile.
And it’s all in the story behind your smile.

Smile was released to support Mo’s efforts in winning his second gold at this year’s IAAF Championships in London. Unfortunately however he failed to do so, finishing second to Yomif Kejelcha of Ethiopia in the final heat of the 5,000 meter race.

Don’t worry, Mo, you’re still a legend to us.

Here's What Batman's New Plane in 'Justice League' Will Look Like

As news around DC’s highly anticipated new Justice League film continues to swirl around the blogosphere, a concept image of Batman‘s ultra high-tech new vehicle has just surfaced. Dubbed the Flying Fox, the plane was imagined by the film’s production designer, Patrick Tatopoulos, and is apparently bigger than any other whip previously operated by the Dark Knight.

“You can put three Batmobiles in the lower part of it. I didn’t want to do a sleek airplane; it needed to feel like an extremely avant-garde classic. With the maneuverability of a jet—but it can actually carry things.”

Check out the Flying Fox before it takes flight on the silver screen above then watch the latest Justice League trailer, slated for a November 17 release date.
