Google Glass Enterprise Is Now Available for Consumer Purchase at Around $1,800 USD

Last July, Google announced the Enterprise Edition for its signature Glass wearable device. The accessory was initially meant for the workforce especially healthcare professionals who can confidently engage in multiple tasks while being reminded of a patient’s vital signs via Glass display. Now, wearable expert Streye is rolling out the device to the average consumer.

If you were to compare the Enterprise to the inaugural variant, there aren’t game-changing upgrades when it comes to hardware specs. To be fair, however, there is better storage (2GB), a larger display prism, as well as a faster Atom processor. Moreover, the Enterprise comes with a photo/video app, a Cloud storage system, YouTube live streaming capabilities as well as a PDF document scanner.

Head over to Streye’s official website to purchase the Enterprise for approximately $1,820 USD and then let us know your thoughts below.

See Where Your Favorite Musician Is Most Popular In The U.S.A.

The New York Times, along with some help from YouTube’s geocoded streaming data, published a collection of maps highlighting where today’s top musicians are most popular across the United States of America. Of the artists on the Billboard Top 100 this spring, the distinguished imprint grabbed the 50 with the most YouTube views in America between January 2016 and April 2017, then tirelessly created color-coded maps that go from the less popular soft pink hue, to the more popular dark purple shade. The author writes “If one part of a map is lighter, it doesn’t mean people there weren’t watching the artist’s videos; it just means fans were more likely to listen to a variety of other artists.”

The results are not all that surprisingly, but surely interesting to know where our favorite rappers, singers, and bands are more likely to influence culture Stateside.

You can peruse the complete set of fan maps here, listed in order of YouTube views, starting with Future. For an added bonus, NYT created a feature where users can enter a U.S. location in the provided search box to get a custom playlist based on that area’s favorite artists.

Following the release of Stone Island’s Fall/Winter 2017 collection, here’s a closer look at pieces from the line’s “Frost” range. Shot in-house by UK retailer Aphrodite, the lookbook features a gilet with asymmetrical zip fastening and rear shoulder pocket placement, a nylon-woven puffed parka, a crewneck sweatshirt, a zip sweat jacket and a cable-knitted sweater, all of which boast a marbled “frost corrosion” fabric treatment. Even the iconic Stone Island patches adorning the outerwear items have seemingly undergone a bit of weathering for a nice subtle patina to match.

G-SHOCK Celebrates Its 35th Anniversary With 'Big Bang Black' Watches

Casio has announced the release of BIG BANG BLACK to celebrate the 35th anniversary of its G-SHOCK brand. The collection consists of five G-SHOCK models featured in matte black. The matte finish was achieved using technology that incorporates particles into the paint, creating a flat black finish that seems to absorb light, evoking the emptiness of the universe. Bright gold contrasts the black matte, which attributes to the theme by harkening to the Big Bang. To commemorate the anniversary, Casio looks to the origin of the brand by including the phrase “SINCE 1983” on the dials, along with special packaging created to enhance the collection.

G-SHOCK began when a Casio engineer attempted to develop a watch that was virtually unbreakable to discredit the fact that wrist watches were always so easy to break. The first G-SHOCK model with a shock-resistant structure was released in 1983. More info can be found on the official 35th-anniversary site.
