Nike Releases a Plethora of New LeBron Soldier 11 Colorways

After releasing a University Red colorway of the LeBron Soldier 11, Nike has gone all out with the model after releasing 20+ different variations of the sneaker. Featuring mostly solid colors, the new set of LeBrons sees every single color of the rainbow as well as Black and Grey for those who enjoy neutral colors. Most of the shoes have colored uppers constructed with synthetic mesh and rest on top of a white rubber outsole. Some models have Swoosh logos underneath the heel that match the colors of the uppers, while others are simply either black or gray.

In addition to this, the collection also sees a handful of inverted models, sporting a white upper with colored midsoles and translucent outsoles. Hints of color are found along the collars as well as on the LeBron James branding on the rear side.

Set to release in two parts, the first bunch of the new Nike LeBron Soldier 11s are out now on Eastbay and other Nike retailers for $130 USD each. No release dates have been given on when we can expect to see the next batch of sneakers, so keep it locked here for more information. In the mean time, scroll through the gallery and let us know which color is your favorite.

Zeiss and Huawei Emerge as Potential Buyers for Minority Stake in Leica

German optics manufacturer Zeiss and Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei have emerged as the two front runners for the 45 percent stake in Leica that is currently up for sale. Presently held by buyout group Blackstone, the 45 percent stake is valued at approximately $375 million USD. Those interested in buying the stake will have to work out a deal not only with Blackstone but with the Kaufmann family as well, who are the owners of the rest of the company.

“ACM has long-term goals with Leica Camera,” Leica Chairman and managing director Andreas Kaufmann told Reuters in the original report. Kaufmann also added that he and his family are interested in maintaining an active interest in the company. The same report states that Zeiss is looking for a majority stake in the company, while Huawei, whose smartphone cameras are made by Leica, is the unlikely option in this scenario.
