Qasimi Introduces 2018 Spring/Summer "Freefall" Collection

Qasimi unveiled its Spring/Summer 2018 “Freefall” collection during men’s fashion week in London at the British Fashion Council show space. The London-based contemporary label unveiled a host of new styles, while sticking true to its socio-political, art, and architecture motif. Inspired slightly by creative director Khalid Al Qasami’s Arabic roots, the Spring/Summer 2018 offering takes cues from the Middle Eastern nomadic Bedouin tribes. Oversized outerwear, complete with parachute nylon pants, pleated shorts, sacks and button-downs dressed with double-strip TEVA sandals were all on display. The collection was modeled in a variety of earth tone hues, which intermingled with a burnt orange safari-shaded sheet backdrop on the runway.

Dave Chappelle Enlists Donald Glover to Perform Alongside Him at Radio City Music Hall

Donald Glover and Dave Chappelle will be doing a joint performance on August 19 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

Although Glover recently stated during Governor’s Ball that it would be his last performance as Childish Gambino, tickets for his and Chappelle’s show will go on sale Friday, June 16 at 10 a.m. EDT on Ticketmaster.

It’s not specified if this particular show will be purely stand-up or hip-hop-inspired, but it’s speculated that it will be a combination of the both based on scheduled appearances from other known names. The show is one in a series of 10 shows Chappelle is doing with The Roots, Chris Rock, Trevor Noah and more to be announced between August 1 and August 24.

Tickets for Childish Gambino and Dave Chappelle’s show will go on sale this Friday, but if you’re a Chase cardmember there will be a presale June 13 at 10 a.m. EDT, along with a Ticketmaster presale on Thursday, June 15 at 12 p.m. EDT.
